Thinglink makes photos interactive
I used this old image of myself to test out the features of the Thinglink technology that makes any image interactive. It’s similar to Gloggster in that you have digital annotations or tags embedded within the image but has a much cleaner way of displaying and the ability for others . I read about this new startup on TNW (The Next Web). Please take a moment to read the article as it mentions several ways they are driving innovation, most significantly through Facebook. I will definitely be presenting this as a challenge to my students. It will be a great way to approach photo narrative and analysis as it incorporates the use of web stats that will allow users to track a photos social capital.
